Bio

With a foundation in applied mathematics and statistics (Bachelors and PhD in Cosmology applications), Darell Moodely, PhD, has built a multifaceted career spanning over a decade in industry. His experience cuts across finance and data science, and he currently thrives as a quantitative analyst in the banking sector. He specializes in developing and validating acquisition and behavioral credit risk scorecards, directly applying advanced mathematical theory to real-world predictive modeling. Beyond industry, he shares this expertise as an educator, lecturing undergraduate statistics for the commerce faculty and instructing in the financial engineering program at WorldQuant University.
