The mission of WorldQuant University is to make advanced, quality education accessible to capable students everywhere by leveraging technology at scale to deliver entirely free online programs.

With student enrollment in more than one hundred countries, our MSc in Financial Engineering Program and Applied Data Science module deliver rigorous curriculum developed by domain experts. From anywhere in the world, students are guided by professionally experienced faculty to develop the high-level quantitative and data-driven skills in high demand across industries.

Daphne Kis

CEO, WorldQuant University

Known as an innovator in technology, venture and entrepreneurial circles, Daphne Kis has led, invested in, and nurtured more than 25 start-up enterprises and has worked on numerous technology-related initiatives. She is a is a firm believer in the meaningful role technology can play in addressing educational, health and cultural issues across industries.

Igor Tulchinsky

Founder

Mr. Tulchinsky is the Founder and CEO of WorldQuant, LLC, which he established in 2007 following 12 years as a statistical arbitrage portfolio manager at Millennium Management. Prior to joining Millennium Management, Mr. Tulchinsky was a venture capitalist, scientist at AT&T Bell Laboratories, video game programmer and author. He holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of Texas, completed in a record nine months, and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from The Wharton School.

Jeffrey Blomberg

Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel, WorldQuant, LLC

Mr. Blomberg oversees WorldQuant's global Legal, Human Resources and Data Procurement functions. Prior to joining WorldQuant in 2014, Mr. Blomberg was a partner in the law firm of Withers Bergman LLP, where he served as WorldQuant's outside general counsel. Before joining Withers, Mr. Blomberg was a partner at Pullman & Comley, LLC. Mr. Blomberg holds a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a BA from Colgate University.

Gary Chropuvka

President, WorldQuant, LLC

Mr. Chropuvka is President of WorldQuant, contributing to leadership of investing activities, global business strategy and day-to-day business operations. Prior to joining WorldQuant in October 2020, he spent more than 20 years at Goldman Sachs and was a partner at the firm. Most recently, he was co-head of the Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) team within Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM). Previously, he oversaw the QIS team’s customized beta, tax-efficient and alternative risk premia businesses. He was also formerly a senior portfolio manager in the QIS Equity Alpha business. Mr. Chropuvka began his career on Wall Street in 1993 in Morgan Stanley’s Correspondent Clearing Group after earning a BA in mathematics from Rutgers University. He also has a master’s in financial engineering from Columbia University and is a CFA charterholder.

Jonathan Marom

Chief Financial Officer, WorldQuant, LLC

Mr. Marom is responsible for oversight of WorldQuant’s financial management processes and Facilities functions. Prior to joining WorldQuant in 2014, Mr. Marom served as Chief Financial Officer at the Rohatyn Group and Global Product Manager for the Plexus Group, Inc., a subsidiary of JP Morgan. Before that, he held several positions within JP Morgan including Manager of Strategic Business Development. Mr. Marom holds an MS in Management and Financial Management and a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University.
