WorldQuant University Expands State Authorization to All US States and Territories
Following WorldQuant University’s accreditation from the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC), we are proud to share that the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (SARA) has also approved WQU to offer our distance education programs to students in 49 US states, the District of Columbia, and US territories. The University also enrolls students in California under a non-profit exemption.
Building on this momentum, students from all over the world and the United States are now able to enroll in and gain credit for completing our Master of Science in Financial Engineering degree. This is yet another important milestone in our quest to make advanced, quality education accessible to capable students everywhere by leveraging technology at scale to deliver entirely free online programs.
SARA is an agreement between member states, territories and districts of the United States of America. Institutions like WorldQuant University that have met SARA requirements can offer their distance education programs to students in other SARA member states. This formal recognition enables us to offer our programs to more students across the US, allowing them to more readily transfer their credits from WorldQuant University and to matriculate into other advanced offerings, such as PhD programs.
